About Rainforest Reef

Rainforest Reef is an independent, Canada-wide directory of aquarium shops, tropical fish stores and coral sellers. It exists to answer one everyday question: where can I find a fish or aquarium store near me in Canada?

What the site does

The site is a finder. You browse by province and city to find stores that sell freshwater fish, aquariums, plants and reef supplies. Each store page carries the business facts we can publish: name, address, phone, website and the categories the store's public listing carries.

The tropical fish store category is where stores that carry tropical fish, goldfish and pond fish — and most reef and coral stock — sit alongside general aquarium shops.

How the data works

• Business facts, plus Google ratings. We publish store details such as name, address, phone, website and category. Where a store has them, we also show its Google rating, review count and common review themes, and an AI summary of those reviews when it is approved. We never reproduce review text.
• No invented listings. Every listing comes from a public business listing. Nothing is fabricated, and category membership is taken from the listing's own categories rather than from a claim we make about a store's stock.
• Corrections welcome. If a store has moved or closed, or a detail is wrong, tell us and we will review it.

Independence

Rainforest Reef is an independent directory. It is not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with any store listed on it, and no store can pay for a better position or a featured badge.
